Dr. Rav Alechem Shalom has been the spiritual advisor to David Steinberg since his very first steps on the derech, and continues to travel the countryside corrupting the heimishe youth. He descends from many very chashuv people, including the Chofetz Chaim’s fish macher, the eruv checker of Chelem, and the guy who told Mel Brooks to use the “2,000 Year Old Man” instead of the original name, “The Great Kvetch Who Is Old, Trust Me” (not that he got any credit for it!). In his spare time, he complains about the room being too drafty and life somehow being both too long and too short at the same time. R. Shalom is available for booking at kiddush clubs (fleishig only).
